YLA 2018

A brief summary of our 2018 YLA programme

BookMyHappiness (YLA 2018 Winning Team)

Did you know that thousands of underprivileged communities in Malaysia don’t have access to books? With a passion to rewrite a child’s story, one book at a time, the BookMyHappiness set out to change that!

Aimed with the mission to improve the quality of education among underserved communities in Malaysia, the BookMyHappiness team embarked on a journey to collect donated books and bring the books to underserved communities by building libraries at schools

The team has since collected more than 1,000 books, built four libraries and raise more than RM1,000 to buy bookshelves and school supplies.
